
OAKLEY — An 18-year-old Antioch man was arrested Wednesday in a shooting that left one teenager dead and three other teens injured at a Saturday night house party in Oakley.

Jason Walizada was booked into the Contra Costa County jail in Martinez in connection with the shooting, which rattled students at multiple nearby high schools and prompted at least one walkout amid rumors of continued violence.
Walizada was arrested in the 2600 block of Orange Way in Antioch, according to the Oakley Police Department. He was held Wednesday night on $1,150,000 bail. The police department said he was being held on a “homicide warrant,” though no further details were released his alleged role in the shooting.
