Event set for Sept. 9 at Wildwood Park.

Saratogans, I am thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to each and every one of you for a remarkable event that’s right around the corner: Saratoga’s 2023 State of the City on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. in the breathtaking Wildwood Park. This won’t be your typical State of the City gathering, my friends: It’s going to be an evening filled with camaraderie, fun and a dash of nostalgia that you won’t want to miss.

We’ve got a spectacular lineup planned to bring us all together, starting with an array of engaging activities and games that will have everyone, from the little ones to our esteemed elders, grinning from ear to ear. We’ll also enjoy tasty treats for all and complimentary commemorative t-shirts for the first 100 attendees.

We’ll then come together for a brief message from yours truly where I’ll share some of the most vital updates about our beloved city—insights about all that has been accomplished this year and what is to come that will shape the course of Saratoga’s future. I will also have the honor of presenting awards to some of our remarkable community members in recognition of their contributions and accomplishments.

But the evening doesn’t stop there. As the sun sets, we’ll set up for a cinematic experience under the stars. Bring a cozy blanket or your favorite lawn chair to watch the heartwarming “101 Dalmatians.” It’s a tale of adventure, friendship and the magic that happens when we all come together.

Before you make your way to Wildwood Park, consider a detour to the Saratoga Village, where our local businesses infuse life into our city. This is the perfect place to stop and grab a refreshing boba tea or a delicious takeout meal to bring with you to the event.

Saratoga’s 2023 State of the City isn’t just about facts and figures; it’s about celebrating the true essence of our community. So, grab your calendars and etch in this special date. Join us at Wildwood Park on Sept. 9, and let’s create memories together that will warm our hearts for years to come. Visit www.saratoga.ca.us/SOTC for all the details. I can’t wait to see you there!
