SAN JOSE — James Lick High School in East San Jose was placed on lockdown Thursday after two students were stabbed, according to authorities, and a suspect remained at large.

The two students, both minors, were transported to a hospital with at least one stab wound each, police said. The stabbings were reported at 11:25 a.m.

The suspect, who fled the scene before officers arrived, remained unknown according to authorities. The school remained on lockdown as of 12:06 p.m.
