Police said the kidnapping happened in the 1200 block of East 33rd Street.

OAKLAND — A woman and an infant were found safe after they were kidnapped Wednesday, police said.

Police were investigating the kidnapping and had not made any arrests. They said the kidnapping happened in the 1200 block of East 33rd Street, at 9 a.m. Officers contacted the person who reported the kidnapping when they got to the scene.

That person then provided video of a possible kidnapping of a woman and an infant.

Police did not say how investigators were able to find the two. They’re continuing to investigate and urged anyone with information to contact them at 510-238-3641.
