
EAST PALO ALTO — A man was shot Thursday night at the East Palo Alto Government Center, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the government center at 2415 University Ave. around 8:30 p.m. after at least five gunshots were detected in the area, the East Palo Alto Police Department said in a statement. They arrived to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
There were no early indications the shooting was related to activities at the government center, police said.
Police did not announce any arrests Friday.
