Aug. 14

Overnight in the 200 block of Everett Avenue: The catalytic converter was stolen from a Toyota Prius.

Overnight in the 100 block of East Latimer Avenue: Someone smashed the window to a Toyota Prius and took air filters.

Overnight in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone cut the padding around loading door rollup doors and gained entry into the semi-truck trailer parked in one of the bays.

11:08 p.m. in the 1900 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 35, was seen hopping the fence. Officers found fresh pry marks and a makeshift pry tool nearby.

12:10 a.m. in the 600 block of Campbell Technology Park: Officers located an unoccupied gray 2001 Toyota Camry reported stolen out of San Jose on Aug. 13 via carjacking.

Aug. 15

9:09 a.m. at Hamilton and South San Tomas Aquino: A 16-year-old was driving a stolen Honda Passport that hit FLOCK. Officers located the vehicle, and the suspect was arrested.

10:09 a.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A woman, 32, was walking through a parking lot checking car doors. She was found to be under the influence.

3:20 p.m. at 70 N. First St.: A man, 42, came to the police department lobby to get his property. He did not like the answer he got and threatened the records staff by saying he would bring a gun back next time. He held up a torch lighter and pointed it at them. He spit on an officer on the way to jail.

6:10 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Two suspects stole merchandise and fled.

3:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Sobrato Drive: A 43-year-old man has been stalking the victim at her apartment and work. He had a peaceful contact order against him, but it was upgraded to an emergency protective restraining order after he slapped the victim and took her phone to prevent her from calling for help.

8:26 p.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: A woman, 53, reported her phone was stolen and tracked it. She confronted the suspect, 45, at his encampment and retrieved her phone. She called police and requested prosecution. The suspect was contacted and was uncooperative. He brandished a 5-foot-long branch with a 2-inch diameter at officers prior to fleeing on foot.

Aug. 16

1:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Cherry Lane: Two 13-year-olds got into a fight after school, and one of them pushed the victim. Another victim tried to break it up and was hit by a combatant. umerous conflicting statements.

At John D. Morgan Park:  A passerby reported that a man, 26, was hitting the victim while they were inside a parked car. The man was arrested and booked.

11:36 p.m. Campbell and Union avenues: A driver, 35, was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be DUI.

Aug. 17

Overnight in the 500 block of Emory Avenue: Someone forced entry into a vehicle and stole tools.

10:59 a.m. in the 1200 block of Camden Avenue: A woman, 28, and a man, 31, were contacted in a parking lot. The woman was under the influence of stimulant an in possession of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and fentanyl. The man was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

3:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone jumped over the counter, grabbed cigarettes and a basketball and fled.

2:15 p.m. in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue: The suspect, 55, picked up the victim, 42, and threw her to the ground, then punched her in the face.

1:50 p.m. in the 400 block of Llewellyn Avenue: Someone stole one tire off a vehicle and fled the scene.

8:02 p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 44, was in possession of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe.

10 p.m. in the 300 block of Budd Avenue: A 16-year-old was reported acting suspicious and was found to have a warrant for violating his juvenile probation. He was in possession of marijuana.

11:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Erin Way: During a fight, the suspect, 28, punched a woman, 65, multiple times, knocking her to the floor and causing her visible injuries. The suspect then broke a window in the front of the residence. They fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

1:49 a.m. at South Winchester Boulevard and Camden Avenue: A woman, 40, was contacted after she was involved in a collision and was found to be DUI.

11:17 p.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Highway 17: A woman, 37, was stopped for vehicle code violations and was found to be DUI.

12:23 a.m. in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A man, 44, was in possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

3:45 a.m. in the 3000 block of South Winchester Boulevard:  A man, 23, was contacted after police saw his vehicle colliding with a building. He was found to be DUI.

4:43 a.m. in the 700 block of West Hacienda Avenue: Two suspects attempted to steal a catalytic converter from a 2000 Toyota Prius but were interrupted.

Aug. 18

11:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Marathon Drive: A black Aventon Pace 500 e-bicycle was stolen.

Overnight in the 100 block of Curtner Avenue: Someone forced entry into a storage unit and stole multiple items.

4 p.m. in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A bicycle was stolen.

7:45 p.m. in the 00 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone used a permanent marker to draw on a vehicle in the parking lot.

12:10 a.m. at South Winchester Boulevard and Budd Avenue: A woman, 66, was stopped for vehicle code violations and was found to be DUI.

1:43 a.m. in the 400 block of West Hamilton Avenue: During an argument, the suspect refused to let the victim and their 3-month-old child leave. The suspect took the baby and victim’s phone and fled the scene. The baby was later located unattended and under a blanket. The suspect fled the scene and is still at large.

Aug. 19

2 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone made entry into a vehicle and stole items.

7:30 p.m. on the Los Gatos Creek Trail: A man, 45, was contacted at an encampment he is known to frequent for felony warrant service. Officer convinced him to come out of the tent with his hands empty, and he was arrested.

12:35 a.m. at South Winchester Boulevard and Latimer Avenue: A man, 23, was stopped for vehicle code violations and was found to be DUI.

4:06 a.m. in the 500 block of Railway Avenue: A man called to report he was punched.

Aug. 20

Overnight in the 200 block of Union Avenue: Someone forced entry into the victim’s car and rummaged through the interior. The suspect also tampered with the ignition in an attempt to steal the vehicle.

11:33 p.m. at Hamilton and Bascom avenues: A man, 20, was stopped for a traffic violation. He possessed credit cards that he claimed he found.

2:33 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Officers located a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that was reported stolen on July 14 out of Santa Clara.
