OAKLAND — A pedestrian died Friday morning after he was struck by a vehicle in East Oakland, authorities said.
No other information has been released yet about the man killed.
The fatal collision happened about 10:30 a.m. Friday in the 9200 block of International Boulevard.
It was not immediately known if the man was in a crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:39 a.m., police said.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that hit the man remained at the scene.
Streets in the area were shut down while police investigated.
