The public is invited from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to view her flag-draped coffin

Members of the public can pay their respects to Sen. Diane Feinstein — the longest-serving female senator in American history — at San Francisco City Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Doors will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1 Dr. Carlton B Goodlett Place.

The following day, a funeral service for the senator will be held at the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center in the Herbst Theater. Though the service is not open to the public, it will be livestreamed at the North Light Court and San Francisco City Hall and online.

Feinstein will then be buried in a private, family-only ceremony following the service on Thursday.
