Using cranes and heavy machinery, workers will excavate at the repair site and construct a soldier pile wall to shore up a lane of the roadway, which sustained damage during last season’s winter storms.

Message and directional signs have been placed in advance of the project area. During the closure, crews will suspend work to allow for the passage of emergency vehicles, according to the release.
